Cookie Policy
Cookies and other web files or tags
1.1 We use cookies and other files and tags (such as JavaScript tags) on various pages of the Site to give the Site an attractive appearance and to enable the use of certain functions. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device.
1.2 Most of the cookies we use will be deleted from your hard drive immediately after you end your browser session (so-called session cookies).
1.3 Other cookies are stored on your device's hard drive and allow us to recognize your device when you visit our website again (so-called persistent cookies). These cookies allow us to make the Site more user-friendly, efficient and secure. For example, they can be used to display information on a specific web page that matches your personal preferences. The duration of a browser session for cookies is 18 hours.
1.4 Cookies, among other things, track clicks and online activity.
1.5 For the same reason, the Site uses cookies and other local files to distinguish you from other users. The Site Owner may use a cookie or configuration file stored in your browser or on the hard drive of your computer and/or mobile phone to obtain general information about your Internet usage. Cookies and other files contain information that is transferred to the hard drive of your computer and/or mobile device. They help the Site Owner improve the Site and provide better and more personalized services. They allow the Site Owner to:
1.5.1 assess the size and structure of the Site Owner's audience and usage patterns, as well as conduct other types of analysis;
1.5.2 collect information about your approximate geographic location (e.g. city) to provide localized content;
1.5.3 store information about your preferences and allow the Site Owner to customize the Site according to your individual interests and the device you or the browser are using;
1.5.4 continuously improve the Site Owner's services;
1.5.5 recognize you when you return to the Site; and
1.5.6 prevent fraud and/or abuse.
1.6 The legal grounds for processing information contained in cookies and other such files or tags are the performance or conclusion of a contract with you (if cookies are necessary as part of the customer interaction cycle) or to ensure our legitimate interests in creating a safe and user-friendly Site.
1.7 You can block cookies by activating the appropriate browser settings that allow you to refuse cookies in whole or in part. However, if you choose a setting that is too strict, you will not be able to access certain parts of the Site. Unless you have changed your browser settings to reject cookies, the Site Owner’s system will set cookies when you access the Site. You can find more information about cookies and how to manage them at http://www.aboutcookies.org.
1.8 The help function in the menu of most browsers explains how to prevent your browser from accepting (some or all) cookies, how to delete all cookies that have been collected, and how to block all cookies in the future.
